Welcome to St. Louis Park High School!

Greetings St. Louis Park High School Parents, Guardians, and Families:

I am honored to serve as the Interim Principal at St. Louis Park High School, a school steeped in a tradition of excellence and opportunity. Having previously served as the principal of Maple Grove High School, a national BARR trainer, an educational leadership consultant, and years of preparation for the principalship as a high school assistant principal, dean, counselor, and teacher/coach/advisor in the Anoka-Hennepin and Osseo school districts, I bring much experience and passion to the job.

There is nothing I love more than the excitement that students bring to the hallways, classrooms, athletic fields, and stages of a high school! As we all know, the COVID-19 pandemic has changed the way schools have traditionally functioned. While there is no playbook, I can tell you our staff is working tirelessly to prepare and create learning opportunities never seen before using the technology, tools and applications available to us.

One of my passions is to lead by providing multiple opportunities for students to be seen, heard, and valued – this couldn’t be more important at this time in our country. It is my commitment to work collaboratively to help all our students engage in learning while feeling both physically and emotionally safe. Right now, we have the opportunity to truly create the change we wish to see in our schools, and I believe the answers to this change exist within and amongst us all!
